Thanks!

Thank you everyone for your wonderful participation in our Easter services.

The Maundy Thursday meal and service was very enjoyable – with many people commenting on how good it was to be together. The organising team did a fantastic job – we have learned a few things for next time, but Asher Hall looked and felt very welcoming, the food was delicious and very well presented. The story telling and liturgical parts fitted in very well. A special thanks to those who came to clear up later.

Thank you for Good Friday – I have had many comments about how moving the service was, and that is thanks to those who were willing to give of themselves in the dramatic readings and in the music. I really appreciate the generous donation of your time and talent.

And for Sunday! A baptism on Easter Day brings the celebration to life. A special thanks to those who did the flowers – they were a stunning reminder of the joy of Easter. Thanks to all those who help in opening the church, organising the offerings, the welcomers at the door, the musicians, the techies. Our worship services rely on many people, so a big THANK YOU to you all.
