Fireside Spring Meeting

Fireside members had a fun Spring meeting in September, 2011. Dorothy Finlayson and Helen Morgan showed beautiful blooms as did many members for the Spring Competition.

Our guest speaker was Mrs. Elaine Brown showing us the technique of dyeing yarn in the microwave with colours from jelly crystals.

Baking for Cranford

Mission Concert

Knox Church, Ahuriri, invites you to our “Mission Concert” on Friday 14th October at 7pm, to be followed by supper. Tickets are $5 each and proceeds will go to ‘The Angel Tree Christmas Project’ which aims to give Christmas gifts to the children of prisoners in HB Prison. Napier Bible Society

The Napier Bible Society Action Group will be holding their Annual Coffee and Dessert evening in All Saints Church Hall, Taradale, on Saturday 1st October at 7pm. The Rev Gerald Clark will be speaking on “The English Bible, a Hard Won Treasure”. All proceeds will be for the circulation of the Scriptures. Tickets at $10 each are available from Isabel Morgan and Ernest Brown.
