On behalf of the Pastoral Care group, I wish to thank all of you for your contribution into the
wonderful afternoon of Carol Service and special afternoon tea at St. Paul’s today.

50 guests attended and 10 helpers. The joy on faces of parishioners meeting up again after
not seeing each other for some time was a thrill. The excitement could be heard in chatter.

The afternoon tea was a highlight. Whether you helped prepare the service, transported, baked,
served, made invitations, name tags or simply attended, a huge THANK YOU.

Thank you very much to those who have already offered their help to the Thrift Shop. They will be included in the new roster in 2012. We plan to have 2 teams, volunteers for the shop & serving and volunteers for sorting & pricing in our Asher Hall store room. A kind person with a trailer would be extremely helpful for occasional use to move surplus stock from the shop on the corner of Nelson Cres and Latham St to Asher Hall. Thank you so much. The Landscaping Project Group had a discussion meeting with parishioners about the concept the parish has been presented with. This was on Thursday 8th December at 2pm and again at 7pm. We met in the lounge and talked about how we might transform our church environment. If you didn’t manage to make it, don’t worry, we will be having more meetings over the next two months or you can talk to any member of the group or you can fill out one of the feedback forms on the board and leave it in the feedback box that is in the foyer.
