Carol Service and Afternoon Tea
Thank you
On behalf of the Pastoral Care group, I wish to thank all of you for your contribution into the
wonderful afternoon of Carol Service and special afternoon tea at St. Paul’s today.
50 guests attended and 10 helpers. The joy on faces of parishioners meeting up again after
not seeing each other for some time was a thrill. The excitement could be heard in chatter.
The afternoon tea was a highlight. Whether you helped prepare the service, transported, baked,
served, made invitations, name tags or simply attended, a huge THANK YOU.
Christmas Blessing to you all.
Dorothy
Carol singing for Christmas; Child Sponsorships
Carol Singing for Christmas
As Sally has a number of new Christmas hymns/carols to teach us, we invite all interested to come to practices on Friday at 1.30pm in the lounge. Singing will be every Friday from now until 16th December (incl) for about one hour.
Child Sponsorship
The cost of sponsoring a child has increased and at the last Board of Managers meeting it was agreed that we would pay the increased amount (gone from $180 to $307). If any of you would like to support this worthy cause separately from our monthly retiring offerings, please see Brenda.

We meet on Wednesday 14th December at 6 p.m. at the main reception area entrance of the hospital. Light refreshments follow the carol singing.
Cranford Hospice Tree of Remembrance – We have been allocated Countdown Supermarket (formerly Woolworths) in Carlyle Street on Thursday 15th December. Please add your name to the list in the foyer or contact Ian Finlayson for further details.
