We celebrate our faith on Sundays with a first service at 9.15am followed by the morning service at 10.30am, and an evening service at 7pm. Services are also held at Christmas and Easter.
First Service at 9.15am is an informal style of worship exploring universal themes in a contemporary way. There are generally smaller numbers at this service where use is made of a data projector, modern songs are sung, and it is often interactive. The Minister and others share responsibility for this service.
Morning Service at 10.30 am. This service is in a more traditional style with: call to worship, prayers, hymns (old and new), bible readings, sermon. Although this is sometimes referred to as the traditional service to distinguish it from the earlier one, it blends the old with the new. The language is contemporary but formal.
Music is a strong part of worship with a dedicated group of musicians making use of the pipe organ, piano and CDs.
On Sundays, morning tea is offered between the two services at 10 am.
Quarterly Communions are held on the second Sunday of March, June, September and the first Sunday in December. We also have an evening communion service on the second Sunday of each month in the months between the quarterly communions (April, May, July, August, October and November).
